Holiday Adaptive Bike Giveaway

WE REACHED OUR GOAL!

Thank you to everyone that donated and helped us not only reach our goal but surpass it! We were able to give adaptive bikes to the 4 children you originally met Jaxon, Andy, Mia and Mya along with our newest NICU graduate, Isaac! Our supporters generosity made this possible and now 5 children's lives will be forever changed. THANK YOU!

THIS HOLIDAY SEASON,
Help Us Change Children’s Lives,
ONE BIKE AT A TIME

Imagine an infant being born ten (or more) weeks early, weighing less than two pounds, spending months in the hospital. Imagine having your tiny newborn undergo six, seven, eight, nine surgeries, just to keep them alive.

That’s the reality in NICUs (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) across America. Some kids are born far too early, others have life-threatening congenital issues. Many of those who “graduate” from the NICU have residual physical problems and will require care and special services for the rest of their lives. Beyond the heroic struggle that these kids and their parents go through, the financial cost is enormous.

That’s where Project Mobility comes in, and hopefully you too!

By donating to our Holiday Adaptive Bike Fundraiser, you help us fulfill our mission of changing lives, one bike at a time, and making the unimaginable happen: You play a part in gifting four children few thought could survive with the freedom and fun of riding their own bike. Take a moment to read about the beneficiaries of our 2023 Holiday Adaptive Bike Giveaway. Then contribute to our GoFundMe so we can reach our $24,000 goal and give each of them the adaptive bike that will enrich their lives.

Our adaptive bikes mean the world to our recipients, but they’re just the start of the high-cost things they need. That’s why we’re partnering with The Funding Project, a charity started by Hal’s sister Tammy.  Our adaptive bikes mean the world to our recipients, but they’re just the start of the high-cost things they need. The Funding Project | They teach families how to raise funds for items, services, and costs not covered by insurance. They’re working to put their book, The NICU Funding Guide, into parents’ hands as soon as their babies enter NICU care. To support their efforts and raise awareness of their work, this year’s holiday recipients are all NICU graduates with special needs. Click here to learn about The Funding Project.
