Reid had no idea when he woke up Monday morning that his mom and dad were taking him to The Bike Rackto surprise him with picking up his adaptive bike! A brand new Catrike Pocket on his 8th birthday He couldn’t have asked for a better gift for his special day.
As a reminder Reid was one of the children part of Everybody Rides this past August. Although in some of the pictures you can’t see his smile, we could feel him grinning from ear to ear even with his mask on!
We have one more child who is picking up their bike next week. Then ALL the children from Everybody Rides 2020's Adaptive Bike Giveaway will have their bikes!
Adaptive bikes are very custom and take time to make, with COVID the bikes are taking even longer. We know the wait is worth it! Stay tuned!
After they left The Bike Rack they stopped by to show off his new Catrike to Scott. He is a HUGE reason Reid has his new bike. He organized donations from Reid’s community for his bike. Thank you Scott for your generosity and giving Reid the ultimate birthday present...the freedom of mobility!
