Help give a child the opportunity to experience the freedom, independence, and joy of adaptive cycling.

How It Works

Step 1
Submit an online application.

Step 2

If approved, your child will be placed into an upcoming Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign based on participant availability and campaign scheduling.

​

Step 3

Share your child's campaign with family, friends, coworkers, and your community. Supporters may donate to your child's campaign, with every eligible donation earning entries according to the Official Entry Schedule.

Step 4
Raise at least $3,000 during the campaign period to qualify for the certified random drawing.

 

Step 5

At the end of the campaign, all qualified participants are entered into a certified random drawing.

 

MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE FUNDRAISING GOAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF AN ADAPTIVE BIKE.

 

Every qualified participant has an opportunity to receive an adaptive bike through the certified random drawing. A participant's odds are determined by the number of eligible entries earned during the campaign.

Eligibility & Participation Requirements

To be eligible to participate in Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Child must be 21 years of age or younger at the start of the campaign.

• Child must reside within the United States and complete all participation requirements established by Project Mobility.

• Complete the adaptive bike fitting process as directed by Project Mobility. Participants may be required to complete the fitting in person or remotely using measurements provided by a physical therapist or other qualified medical professional.

• Complete all requested fitting information by the deadline established by Project Mobility.

• Agree that Project Mobility may photograph and record your child and family and use photographs, videos, names, stories, testimonials, and other submitted content on its website, social media channels, fundraising materials, marketing materials, and other promotional media.

• Participants residing within Project Mobility's local service area are required to attend the adaptive bike presentation at the date, time, and location designated by Project Mobility. Participants residing outside Project Mobility's local service area will instead be required to provide photographs and/or videos of the participant receiving and using their adaptive bike, along with any additional photos, videos, or updates reasonably requested by Project Mobility.

• Comply with all Project Mobility program guidelines, deadlines, and participation requirements.

 

Failure to meet any of the above requirements may result in removal from the campaign, disqualification from the certified random drawing, forfeiture of the adaptive bike, and/or ineligibility for future Project Mobility programs.

Important Information

• Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into an Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign.

• Approval allows your child to participate in a future Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign but does not guarantee placement into the next available campaign.

• Approval to participate does not guarantee receipt of an adaptive bike.

• MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE FUNDRAISING GOAL QUALIFIES A PARTICIPANT FOR THE CERTIFIED RANDOM DRAWING BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF AN ADAPTIVE BIKE.

• Winners are selected through a certified random drawing in accordance with the Official Rules.

• All funds raised remain with Project Mobility to support its mission of providing adaptive bikes, adaptive equipment, inclusive programs, educational initiatives, events, and other mobility initiatives that create freedom, independence, and joy for individuals with disabilities, regardless of the outcome of the certified random drawing.

• Adaptive bikes are custom-built specifically for each rider. Manufacturing, customization, and delivery times vary depending on the adaptive bike manufacturer and the participant's individual needs.

• The number of adaptive bikes awarded may increase as campaign fundraising milestones are achieved.

 

Important Dates

Application Deadline

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Approved applicants will be assigned to an upcoming Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign based on participant availability, campaign scheduling, and operational capacity.

 

Campaign Period

Each Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign runs for two weeks, beginning at 12:00 PM Central Time on the campaign start date and ending at 12:00 PM Central Time on the campaign end date.

 

Certified Random Drawing & Winner Announcement

The certified random drawing takes place immediately following the conclusion of each campaign. Winner(s) are scheduled to be announced at 1:00 PM Central Time on the final day of the campaign.

By signing and submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to everything contained in this application, the participation requirements, and the Official Rules of Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes.

I understand and agree that:

✔ THIS IS A CERTIFIED RANDOM DRAWING. No matter how much money my child raises, my child will receive an adaptive bike through this Sweepstakes only if selected in the certified random drawing.

✔ MY CHILD MUST RAISE A MINIMUM OF $3,000 DURING THE CAMPAIGN PERIOD TO QUALIFY FOR THE CERTIFIED RANDOM DRAWING. If my child does not raise at least $3,000 during the campaign period, my child will not be eligible for that campaign's certified random drawing unless otherwise determined by Project Mobility in accordance with the Official Rules.

✔ MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE FUNDRAISING GOAL QUALIFIES MY CHILD FOR THE CERTIFIED RANDOM DRAWING BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF AN ADAPTIVE BIKE.

✔ ANY FUNDS RAISED REMAIN WITH PROJECT MOBILITY to support its charitable mission of providing adaptive bikes, adaptive equipment, inclusive programs, educational initiatives, events, and other mobility initiatives. Donations are not refundable, regardless of the outcome of the certified random drawing.

✔ I UNDERSTAND MY CHILD MUST COMPLETE ALL REQUIRED PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED BY PROJECT MOBILITY. This includes completing the adaptive bike fitting process, meeting all required deadlines, and participating in the adaptive bike presentation or providing photographs and/or videos if residing outside Project Mobility's local service area. Failure to comply with participation requirements may result in disqualification from the certified random drawing, forfeiture of the adaptive bike, and/or ineligibility for future Project Mobility programs.
