Official Rules

1. Organizer

Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is organized and administered by Project Mobility, a nonprofit organization headquartered in St. Charles, Illinois.

2. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

Making a donation does not guarantee that a participant will receive an adaptive bike. Winner(s) are selected through a certified random drawing in accordance with these Official Rules.

3. Eligibility

This Sweepstakes is open to individuals who participate by making a donation or submitting one (1) free entry through the Alternative Method of Entry.

To be eligible to receive an adaptive bike, approved participants must meet all of the following requirements:

Be 21 years of age or younger as of the start of the Campaign Period.
Reside within the United States.
Complete the adaptive bike fitting process as directed by Project Mobility. Participants may be required to complete the fitting in person or remotely using measurements provided by a physical therapist or other qualified medical professional.
Complete all requested fitting information by the deadline established by Project Mobility.
Agree that Project Mobility may photograph and record the participant and family and use photographs, videos, names, stories, testimonials, and other submitted content on its website, social media channels, fundraising materials, marketing materials, educational materials, and other promotional media.
Participants residing within Project Mobility's local service area are required to attend the adaptive bike presentation at the date, time, and location designated by Project Mobility. Participants residing outside Project Mobility's local service area will instead be required to provide photographs and/or videos of the participant receiving and using their adaptive bike, along with any additional photos, videos, or updates reasonably requested by Project Mobility.
Comply with all Project Mobility program requirements, deadlines, and participation guidelines.
Return the adaptive bike to Project Mobility if it is no longer needed so it may be evaluated for possible refurbishment and reuse whenever reasonably possible.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the campaign, disqualification from the certified random drawing, forfeiture of the adaptive bike, and/or ineligibility for future Project Mobility programs.

Project Mobility may limit the number of approved participants in any campaign based on operational capacity, program needs, campaign scheduling, or other considerations determined solely by Project Mobility.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into a campaign.

Eligible applicants who are not selected for a particular campaign may be considered for future campaigns at Project Mobility's sole discretion.

Project Mobility reserves the right to approve or deny any application based on eligibility requirements, program guidelines, and operational considerations.

Void where prohibited by law.

4. Campaign Period

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Approved participants will be assigned to an upcoming Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign based on participant availability, campaign scheduling, and operational capacity.

Each campaign runs for approximately two (2) weeks, beginning at 12:00 PM Central Time on the campaign start date and ending at 12:00 PM Central Time on the campaign end date.

Entries received outside the applicable Campaign Period are not eligible.

5. How to Enter

Supporters may enter by making a donation and selecting an approved participant to support.

Entries are awarded according to the Official Entry Schedule:

Project Mobility reserves the right to modify the entry schedule for future campaigns.

Alternative Method of Entry (Free Entry)

Participants may receive one (1) free entry by submitting the official Alternative Method of Entry Form.

Limit one (1) free entry per person and per email address.

6. Entry Limits and Verification

Donations may be made multiple times.

Each eligible donation receives entries according to the Official Entry Schedule.

Free entry is limited to one (1) per person.

All entries are subject to verification.

Project Mobility reserves the right to disqualify any individual who attempts to manipulate the Sweepstakes, submit fraudulent information, use multiple identities, abuse the Alternative Method of Entry, or otherwise violate these Official Rules.

7. Fundraising Qualification Requirement

To qualify for the certified random drawing to receive an adaptive bike, each approved participant must raise at least 50% of the campaign fundraising goal during the Campaign Period.

Based on the current fundraising goal of $6,000, participants must raise a minimum of $3,000 during the Campaign Period to qualify for that campaign's certified random drawing.

MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE FUNDRAISING GOAL QUALIFIES A PARTICIPANT FOR THE CERTIFIED RANDOM DRAWING BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF AN ADAPTIVE BIKE.

Participants who do not reach the minimum fundraising requirement before the Campaign Period ends will not be eligible for that campaign's certified random drawing.

Once the minimum fundraising requirement has been met, additional eligible donations continue to earn entries according to the Official Entry Schedule.

Project Mobility reserves the right to waive, modify, or make reasonable exceptions to fundraising requirements due to hardship, administrative necessity, technical issues, operational needs, or other circumstances deemed appropriate by Project Mobility.

All determinations made by Project Mobility are final.

8. Participant Responsibilities

Approved participants agree to:

Complete the adaptive bike fitting process and provide all requested information by the deadlines established by Project Mobility.
Meet all deadlines established by Project Mobility throughout the campaign.
Participate in the adaptive bike presentation if residing within Project Mobility's local service area, or provide photographs and/or videos of the participant receiving and using the adaptive bike, along with any additional photos, videos, or updates reasonably requested by Project Mobility if residing outside Project Mobility's local service area.
Participate in reasonable promotional activities, including photographs, videos, interviews, testimonials, and story sharing.

9. Certified Random Drawing

At the conclusion of the Campaign Period, all qualified entries will be combined into a single pool.

Winner(s) will be selected through a certified random drawing.

MEETING OR EXCEEDING THE FUNDRAISING GOAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE SELECTION.

Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received and the number of entries assigned to each participant.

10. Prize

Selected participant(s) will receive a custom adaptive bike professionally selected and fitted to meet their individual needs.

The number of adaptive bikes awarded may increase as campaign fundraising milestones are achieved.

Project Mobility reserves the right to substitute an adaptive bike or adaptive equipment of equal or greater value, or modify equipment specifications, based on manufacturer availability, rider needs, safety considerations, or other operational circumstances.

Receipt of an adaptive bike is contingent upon continued compliance with these Official Rules and all Project Mobility participation requirements.

Adaptive bikes and related equipment are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

11. Community Champion Recognition

Community Champion and Community Champion Priority are recognition programs administered solely by Project Mobility and are not part of the Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes or the certified random drawing.

Participants who raise at least 125% of the campaign fundraising goal during the Campaign Period will be recognized as Community Champions.

If a Community Champion is not selected through the certified random drawing, the highest fundraiser will receive Community Champion Priority and the next available fully funded adaptive bike through Project Mobility, subject to continued eligibility and compliance with all Project Mobility program requirements.

Community Champion recognition and Community Champion Priority are administered solely at Project Mobility's discretion and are not considered Sweepstakes prizes.

12. Notification of Winner

Winner(s) will be notified using the contact information provided by the participant.

If a selected participant declines the adaptive bike, becomes ineligible, fails to complete required participation requirements, or cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, Project Mobility reserves the right to select an alternate winner through a certified random drawing or otherwise administer the prize in accordance with these Official Rules.

13. Use of Funds

All donations received through Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes remain the property of Project Mobility and are not refundable.

Funds support Project Mobility's charitable mission by providing adaptive bikes, adaptive equipment, inclusive programs, educational initiatives, events, and other mobility services that create freedom, independence, and joy for individuals with disabilities.

The outcome of the certified random drawing does not affect how donated funds are used.

14. Publicity

By participating, entrants and approved participants grant Project Mobility permission to use names, photographs, videos, stories, testimonials, and other submitted content for promotional, educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

Participants residing outside Project Mobility's local service area agree to provide photographs and/or videos of the participant receiving and using the adaptive bike, along with any additional photos, videos, or updates reasonably requested by Project Mobility, to help share the impact of the program and further Project Mobility's charitable mission.

15. Limitation of Liability

Project Mobility is not responsible for:

Technical failures.
Website interruptions.
Lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
Errors in processing entries or donations.
Circumstances beyond its reasonable control affecting the administration of the Sweepstakes.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Project Mobility, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and agents from any liability, claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or possession of any adaptive bike or prize, except where prohibited by law.

16. Campaign Modifications

Project Mobility reserves the right to postpone, combine, modify, suspend, or cancel any campaign, or amend these Official Rules, if necessary due to fraud, technical issues, operational needs, insufficient participation, force majeure, changes in applicable law, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Project Mobility also reserves the right to modify campaign schedules, fundraising goals, fundraising milestones, participant capacity, entry schedules, adaptive bike availability, or other administrative procedures for future campaigns. Any such changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated prior to the applicable campaign when required.

All decisions made by Project Mobility regarding the administration of the Sweepstakes shall be final.

17. Governing Law

Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Any disputes arising from the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

19. Acceptance of Official Rules

By participating in Project Mobility's Adaptive Bike Giveaway Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions made by Project Mobility regarding the administration of the Sweepstakes.
