Lalah is an energetic eleven-year-old girl with multiple disabilities. She enjoys her independence. She has a contagious smile and laughter. She loves school, painting, coloring, dancing, and cycling. Unfortunately, she is not able to ride a bike as often as she would like.
Lalah's disabilities keep her from riding a normal bike, but she is very persistent. Still, assistance has been needed when she has tried.
On December 14, 2024, Lalah had surgery on her right ankle to lengthen her Achilles tendon. Following her surgery, she had therapy to strengthen the Achilles at La Rabida Children’s Hospital with Sydney Partington, and it was there that Lalah was given the opportunity to ride an adaptative bike. The look on her face was priceless. She was so excited about finally being able to ride a bike without stress and struggle. Lalah would really love to have this bike.
