Wynter was diagnosed with Down Syndrome before birth, and by age 5 she was also diagnosed with Autism. She is non-verbal and faces multiple health challenges, including weight-related issues that have contributed to borderline diabetes, thyroid complications, and liver disease.
Despite these obstacles, Wynter loves being active when she has the chance. She has been riding an adaptive bike during physical therapy, enjoying trips along the lake with her favorite friends — including Spider-Man and Miles Morales in the front compartment! These rides bring her joy, a sense of freedom, and a rare opportunity to just be a kid.
Adaptive bikes like this one, though costly, can make a life-changing difference for Wynter. They give her the chance to be active, improve her health, and experience excitement and happiness in her life. Your support can help Wynter enjoy these moments and create highlights in a childhood filled with medical challenges.
